For some time, owners Julie and Deny Zancanaro persevered with large, interlocking loose lay rubber mats which were not designed for around water to help keep the pool deck safe. Cleaning and maintenance associated with these temporary mats was proving to be increasingly challenging and so after considerable research, they settled on Life Floor in the 10mm thick Ripple 2.0 texture. The Life Floor Design Studio recommended two shades of blue (Bluebird and Aviator) from Life Floor's 'High Tide' theme to match the existing décor. Tiles were laid in a classic checkerboard grid arrangement and included pre-cut depth markers.
