Emmanuel College is a co-educational, multi-denominational Christian school with just over 1,600 students, located in Gold Coast, Australia. It boasts an extensive aquatics program with lessons and squads ranging from beginners to national ranking, elite swimmers. The swim school programs take place in a heated indoor four-lane pool and the squad programs are run in an outdoor, heated, undercover, eight-lane, 25-metre pool.
Prior to installing Life Floor safety surfacing, the concrete pool decks and artificial turf were increasingly difficult clean and maintain. The operations staff also did not enjoy that the concrete was unsightly and slippery when wet.
Life Floor Australia + New Zealand provided a solution by installing our product to address the significant challenges Emmanuel College faced. The aquatic centre’s Life Floor surfaces are cushioned, slip-resistant, easily cleanable, and more!
Our in-house Design Studio created a custom banded colour pattern in a palette that reflects the blue and yellow of Emmanuel College’s school colours. Two shades of blue were accented by bright pop of Sunshine across the two pool decks.
