Palm Beach Aquatic Centre

The City of Gold Coast chose to surface the splash pad at Palm Beach Aquatic Centre with Life Floor which was installed by Grassports Australia (QLD). Gold Coast worked with Liquid Blu Architects to create a dynamic and welcoming space. According to the city, “the centre has been designed with sub-tropical influences.” Mayor Tom Tate went on to comment, “the look and feel of the new centre reflects the culture, climate, and character of the southern Gold Coast.”

Waterplay spray features, specified by Urban Play, provide gentle toys that allow young children to explore and engage freely. Paired with Life Floor, families can play boundlessly and trust our industry-leading safety to protect falls better than traditional surfaces like concrete.
