Logan North Aquatic Centre
Project Type: Splash Pad
Location: Brisbane. Queensland. Australia
A 400 m² splash pad is a highly anticipated amenity of the new $9M upgrade to Logan North Aquatic Centre. The 18-month refurbishment included pool and equipment upgrades and a 32 metre long splash pad.
The splash pad is designed to accommodate all ages and abilities with calmer activities for toddlers and interactive features for older children. A four-colour square gradient designed by the Life Floor Design Studio encourages movement throughout the space and complements the bright orange and green fixtures and shade sails throughout. Our slip-resistant and cushioned tiles improve overall safety and extend guest stays by providing a relaxing and comfortable experience.
“Our pools and water play areas are more than just a place to cool off or exercise, they also provide social connection that boosts the appeal and liveability of our city,” said Mayor Darren Power in OurLogan publication.
